Welcome to Still Rockin’! We grew up in a whirlwind of changing music styles, from 50s rock — Pat Boone (April Love) to Bill Haley & His Comets (Rock Around the Clock) to Elvis — to 60s rock — Paul Revere & The Raiders, The Beatles and the Rolling Stones. Then on to 70s rock — The Guess Who and ZZ Top — and crossovers like Michael Martin Murphey (Wildfire). There was so much to listen to, dance to, groove to (yeah, we didn’t really talk like that, did we?)! Sock it to me! lol
Here you’ll find my take on the classic rock n roll that we grew up with. Each nostalgic rock song will be featured in a blog post, with an original design (ahem, mine!) suitable for t-shirts, phone covers, throw pillows, whatever. Hope you’ll find a smile here and some good memories. There’s also a link in each post to click and listen to the featured song.
We’ll start with t-shirts! Check out the shop, read the blog, leave a comment, suggest a new song to feature, and maybe a design too. Yes, I’d like to sell you stuff, but more than that, I hope to make you feel good. Even if we’re old according to the world, that doesn’t mean we’re dead yet. Right?
Enjoy the ride, and Rock On!
